Fall Outdoor Decorating From Door County, WI

Have you ever been to Door County Wisconsin in the fall? I took a ride this past weekend to see the preparation that goes into gearing up for their fall festivals.

Here is just the start of the preparations:

With most of the area coming from strong farming roots, it is no wonder they use antiques to decorate with.

I want the cart for myself. I can see many possiblities!

Grandma Tommy’s shop located just outside of Sturgeon Bay, WI was starting to paint their round bales with pumpkin faces.

They also had a wonderful pumpkin selections of hay bales and corn stalks.

The pumpkin towers were something new this year. I hadn’t seen them before.

I can’t pass up the chance to photograph all the old wagons.

I just love how they place so much thought into their displays.

This friendly cat followed me around the grounds of a shop and when I went to take a picture of the wagon decided he needed to pose for me.

Someone spent a lot of time painting pumpkins!

My daughter asking me if we could purchase some gourds.
